PU-foam - Mattresses
There is one important advantage given by the polyurethane (PU) open pore foam which is its high degree of openness to diffusion, that means the open-cell character of its material. There is a good reason why moulded foam inlays are inserted into latex mattresses as these improve the characteristics of diffusion, which means a considerable regulation of the circulation of air. This is why PU-foam is less prone to the development of microorganisms, such as house dust mites or mould. Furthermore these mattresses are also good orthopaedic aids and can help to enhance the environment. The degree of hardness of our WOODLAND PU-foam mattresses - which are free of harmful substances - always matches our reinforced slatted mattress foundations perfectly.

This is a special poly foam mattress. Its textile is developed according to the high quality demands of the DIN (EN) 13014 and therefore suitable for the extensive use in health care facilities. This PU-foam moulds to the shape of your body eliminating pressure points during sleeping.
Cover: 100% cotton, sanforized, breath-active, washable and suitable for tumbler dryers (BUT please use a low temperature!). Design: grey-white stripes. The textile is unquilted and the case is removable with a 2-side zipper.

High-quality non-allergenic poly foam mattress which provides optimal protection from dust mite allergies. This mattress consists of a breathable, recyclable special foam core that offers a very good humidity exchange and is able to aid ventilation. Its "SANIcare" cover is quitted, washable and removable.
Core: Special poly foam mattress with a good moisture regulation, optimal in conjunction with WOODLAND-slats. The Textile (cover and core) is certificated by "Oeko-Tex-Standard 100".
Cover: Terry stretch material containing cotton. Colour: white. The textile is quitted on all sides with approx. 200g/m² PES-thermo-fibre. Washable 60° and suitable for tumbler dryers (BUT please use a low temperature!).
Cover/Upper material: The "SANIcare" developed bi-elastic textile is fungicidal. This means that this textile-treatment is reducing the mite-/arcaria-population (and the population of other microorganism) with a fresh sleeping atmosphere (Ultra-fresh treatment).
