1 loft bed - 5 assembly options!
The basic model WINNIPEG offers various "grow together" assembly options and is suitable for children over the age of one!
The WINNIPEG loft bed is already suitable for children over the age of one. It is a unique adventure bed as it is possible to set it up as a baby cot (see pic. below). Furthermore it offers four other assembly options (see pic. at the right hand side) without any need for extra components or conversion kits because all the necessary components for all five options are already included in the original delivery of this multifunctional bed.
After the "assembly option 1" (see graphic at the right hand side.) the sleeping level can be adjusted to give an extra 32cm high step. This means the width between the mattress beam and the ground can be altered to 30, 53, 86, 118 cm or 150cm depending on the age of the child.
Assembly option 1
For children at the age of one year the sleeping level is assembled in conjunction with a frame set consisting of six parts. In this way the sleeping level is installed very low and becomes a spacious baby cot and playpen.
Assembly option 2
Parents who find conventional bunk beds too high are glad about the second WINNIPEG assembly option with a standing height of 53cm below the mattress. Also the ladder hand railings are adjustable in a lower part which makes the ladder usable for those children who are between 2-3 years old. A symmetrical assembly is also possible; this means the ladder can be adjusted on the left of the long side as shown in the picture on the left hand side.
Assembly option 3
Assembly option 3 (see pic. at the right hand side) can be used in an ideal way by those children who love to "build their own shack" because of the 86 cm standing height beneath the mattress. The ladder hand railings are also adjustable in a lower part. A mirror inverted assembly is of course possible as well without further ado.
Assembly option 4
This assembly option with a standing height of 118 cm below the mattress is ideal for children over the age of three because the climbing up and down is safe and easily manageable. The adequate height of the upper guard railing and safety bars (double the EU standard) prevents falls and accidents. This installation height offers various possibilities to add useful accessories.
Assembly option 5
The conversion of a WINNIPEG into a "junior bed": Through the higher positioning of the mattress beams at a height of 150 cm you can create enough space for a height adjustable desk underneath. Therefore the WINNIPEG loft bed is also convenient for our teenagers. This is particularly helpful if you need the extra room for a computer or a printer. As height of the upper guard railing is halved this assembly option is suitable for children above the age of 11.
Dimensions
For the assembly option 1-5: Height 220 cm (central vertical beam), Length 210 cm, Depth 102 cm, Standing height below the upper bunk (varies depending on your choice of an assembly option) 30 cm, 53 cm, 86 cm, 118 cm and 150 cm. The height of the vertical corner beams is 194 cm and remains the same for all assembly options. The mattress size is 90 cm x 200 cm. The height of the upper guard railing is 70 cm minus the mattress height, when assembled in option 5 it is 32 cm minus the mattress height.
Delivery includes

the necessary beams and screws required for the
construction of all 5 WINNIPEG building variants,
1 slatted mattress foundation, 1 sail
(colour freely selectable), 1 climbing rope, 1 ships
wheel, 1 ladder with gripping handles
and curve, all safety bars
and a comprehensible construction manual. The safety
bars (between the upper guard railing and the mattress) are included as standard
even on the long side of the bed that is next to a wall, so that the
children do not slip with their feet between the wall and the mattress.
Delivery excludes mattress, toy crane, bed shelves,
desks, frame set and decoration extras.
