What
exactly is a "cold
foam mattress"?
A
cold foam mattress is made of high resilience foam (HR) that
represents the top of polyurethane foam (PU). HR-foam is developed
to achieve superior performances in mattresses. HR-foam has less
uniform (more random) cell structure than conventional products.
The random cell structure adds better support, comfort and
resilience. The mattress is divided into zones allowing
elastic adoption to the body at every point.
HR-foam
is an open pore foam that creates air
channels that regulate the overall temperature of the mattress and
your body. HR-foam moulds to the shape of your body eliminating
pressure points, tossing and turning. Compared to the conventional
spring mattress, it is easier to bend the foam mattress when
changing a bed linen. Also there is no danger of springs poping
out when children jump up-and-down on the mattress.
HR-foam is
suitable for allergy sufferers because polyurethane resist tiny microrganisms
like dust mites. A high quality HR-foam
mattress can act as a very good and durable mattress that
lasts more than 15 years. They are also good orthopaedic
aids and can help to enhance the environment.
The PU-foam
mattress is CFC free, in another words,
free of harmful substances. The fabric and the
foam-material of this mattress is certificated with ÖKO-TEX-STANDARD-100.
